The Wendy\’s in the middle of Oxford had a \”small\” fire three years ago. The wise business owners left it abandoned (see image) in the center of town until they could brow beat City Council into letting them build a monstrously large apartment building. We will trade one eyesore (Abandoned Burnt out Wendy\’s) for another eyesore (Apartment building). City council lets the people down again.

yesterdays was more impressive than this one.
Nice perspective through the metal fencing. A sense of power and destruction.
you look dangerously close when you took this shot. very nice capture. 🙂
The chain link fence adds a very different perspective, did the driver see you taking his picture?
A great capture of the demolition! I too like the hint of fencing visible 🙂
Nice composition. Love the hint of the chain-link-fence.
Now that\'s a pov you rarely get to see of this kind of thing…hope you shot this with a zoom lens..or you obviously could move pretty fast!
I like the way you can see just a bit of the chain link fence in the shot. Nice job.
lol at me…I just now found that you have a place for a description of your images. I saw the comments and read them several times. Then I began clicking hyperlinks and found it! You captured the cleanup process well. Nice through the fence shot.
You sopuld not stay there, dangerous !
Powerful picture of a nice demolition work.
Les travaux, un art subtil, bravo !
lol.. ditto what marcus said.. i can\'t tie up some parts of the description with the photo.. 😀
Was he giving you the evil eye for standing too close to his backhoe?
Did you mean to include all of that in the description?
Great angle and I like the slight outline of the fence, creates a powerful image with this massive machinery.
I like the composition. Good work!
