It took quite a wait to get this shot without cars. It was worth the wait! Nick

Now I\'m jealous. The Smoky Mountains are second only to the Blueridge Mountains to me. As a child we went to the Smokies two or three times a year and after I married my husband and I lived on the Virginia/North Carolina border. Just beautiful.

Magnificent shot, the composition with the road is spot on. Beautiful spot for a drive 🙂

Excellent shot. I love the winding road with the color in the background. And I know what you mean about waiting for no cars… those shots make it so worth it when you get it with no traffic!

Nice composition, the road leads very nicely into the shot here. Great autumnal colours too.
