   Presenting this image in black and white makes it so much more interesting (color flower photos can be such a cliché). It has a surreal quality not only because of the variety of marigold it is, but also because of the way you handled the filtering. The crispness of the edges makes this work too.
   Nicely done…good creative thinking

   Nick –
   Did you shoot this hand held? I like the softness of the image, but I think that it might be a little blurry for me. The conversion is nice though. The subject matter is also very nice.
