    Wonderderful photo of the cardinal (a favorite of mine since it was the state bird of my home in NC). Beautiful colors, Nick, and dead on with the 2.8 — ISO 1600??? Wow…congrats!

    Nick –
    nice soft details in the background, and I like the placement of the bird in the frame, as well as the colors. Was the ISO 1600 to make sure you had a fast enough shutter to catch him, cause you can tell with the noise, not that it detracts too much. All in all, a nice shot.
