Snake River Overlook – Grand Teton National Park

Snake River Overlook - Grand Teton National Park
This is from my Sept 05 trip to Grand Teton Nation Park. Snake River Overlook is one of my favorite places in the park. I can just image Ansel Adams there with his camera on the top of his car.

Great colors and a great place indeed. I was lucky enough to be able to see this place too (mid October 94). It was pretty much covered in snow back then though. They nearly closed the road north through Yellowstone NP. That would have made me very unhappy. Luckily they didn\'t.

Magnificent, the white trunks with the yellow leaves make a very appealing image.

Note to self, Tetons is a great place in the fall.
