I\'m a big fan of lighthouses. I\'m actually hoping to see some in New England next month if I can plot and afford to take a trip like that for a couple of days. Good shot thought. I really like how you did it.

I was browsing your archives and knew this image right off. We\'ve been there many times. Beautiful photo of a beautiful place.

Lovely lines and colour, the eye is positively pulled into this shot rather than drawn in. Very nice.

Great! Love it! Sucks you right in. And the red bricks against the rich greens and blues is great, and then of course the black and white tower. Fantastic.

I see what Andy means about the rule of thirds. It\'d be interesting to compare them side by side. I have to say I like this version as it\'s almost two shots in one, with the tower bridging the two.

Ooooh. Very nice. If I could make one suggestion, I would put the horizon line 1/3 up from the bottom as opposed to right across the middle. Then you would be utilizing the rule of thirds. You would of course be adding more clouds/sky gradient. If only that were near O-town, you could go back there on a stormy day!
This is one of those pictures that could go either way with the rule of thirds, so regardless of how you compose it, this shot is very nice!
